Over the last Bank Holiday weekend, some of us joined forces with EU in Walsall where we used a “Brexitometer” to gauge people’s opinion on Brexit. You can see from the photos below, that even in Walsall (68% voted Leave), people are thinking again about the future direction of the country.

We are going to carrying out a similar exercise in Bearwood on Saturday 8 September, as our part of the Liberal Democrat Weekend of Action, just before this year’s party conference.
We will be meeting at 10am at the front of the Aldi/Poundland stores on Bearwood High Street (B66 4BH). As well as the Brexitometer, we also want to engage with people about the local issues they face.
Parking is available in Aldi’s car park for 90 minutes (there is a "Parking Eye", so do be careful) and there’s usually some on street parking on the roads off St Mary’s Road, on the other side of the High Street. You can find a map here: https://www.aldi.co.uk/store/s-uk-E0537
We hope that you can come and join in – please let us know by emailing [email protected]
